Among all the new pop-up cafes in this area, Moonlight Cafe is one of the hallmark cafes that has certainly stood the test of time. So come one weekend, finally we had the time and need (this will become clearer as you read on) to check it out. Upon entering Moonlight café, you will come upon a self-serving bakery with quite an extensive array of breads, pastries and cakes. Among these were their speciality cake – the Durian Cake. Also available were other rather adorably decorated cakes. The concept is for you to pick your own goodies, pay and either take-away or bring it up with you to the second floor café. The second floor café was up two flight of stairs (so take note if anyone has mobility issues as there is no lift). As we stepped into the second floor café it was a bit dark at certain areas but brightly glaring at tables facing the many broad windows.
