Amidst hidden paths of greenery stood a solitary wooden cabin, made from wooden beams, glass and heat-resistant padded roof. But no, this is not the beginning of a novel. Folks, welcome to the Breakfast Thieves APW, one of the two buildings nestled inside the compound of an old printing factory in Bangsar, hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We were there around lunchtime and the Breakfast Thieves inner “cabin” was already packed so we had seats at the wooden porch. The ceiling fan was built low and cool airy wind could easily reach everyone. Menu at the Breakfast Thieves is truly fusion from Western to Asian and even Japanese with a breakfast udon served with dashi broth.
